At Endo & Mind Clinic, we combine both. At our healthcare facility, we primarily provide medical services that are covered by OHIP (Ontario Health Insurance Plan). This means that most of the essential medical treatments and procedures are covered by OHIP for eligible patients. However, therapeutic services, such as physiotherapy, occupational therapy, and counselling are non-OHIP funded, but are covered by most extended health benefit plans. The availability and coverage of these services may vary depending on the patient’s needs and treatment plan. We understand that each patient has unique requirements, and we strive to provide comprehensive information on their coverage and options. Based on the individual’s needs and treatment plan, we will provide detailed information on therapeutic services’ availability and funding options.

We do both! We highly value our patients’ time and convenience. We have designed our services to be primarily operated online, allowing for easy access and efficient communication. Through our online platform, patients can schedule appointments, consult with healthcare professionals, and access medical information from the comfort of their own homes. This approach helps save time and eliminates the need for unnecessary travel or waiting in crowded waiting rooms. However, we understand that certain medical exams, procedures, or pharmacotherapy treatments may require in-person visits. In such cases, we have an office at our other dedicated endoscopy clinic where we accommodate our patients for these specific needs and visits. Our endoscopy clinic is equipped with state-of-the-art facilities and staffed with experienced medical professionals. Rest assured, our clinic strives to provide a seamless experience for our patients by utilizing online services whenever possible while also offering in-person care when necessary. We are committed to delivering the highest quality of care and convenience to our valued patients.
We offer both options. Your family doctor can easily download the Endo & Mind referral form, fill it up and fax it to us. Our fax number is 416 620 7874 or you can email us and book your intake consultation without a referral form. In that option, the fee consultation is $100. After your completed consultation one of our physicians will refer you for further exams and assistance free of charge. Physician Referral Form

Somatic Symptom Disorders

Somatic symptom disorders are conditions where individuals experience physical symptoms without a clear medical explanation. These symptoms can cause distress and disruption in daily life. It’s important to remember that at Endo & Mind Clinic, many physicians are available to assess these symptoms and provide you with the best support and treatment. Somatic symptom disorder is characterized by the presence of one or more distressing physical symptoms that may or may not have a clear medical explanation. Some common somatic symptoms include pain, such as headaches, joint pain, abdominal pain, fatigue or exhaustion, and gastrointestinal problems, such as bloating, constipation, or diarrhea.

Additionally, breathing difficulties or shortness of breath, heart palpitations or chest pain, and neurological symptoms are just one of many issues one might have. It’s important to note that these symptoms do not necessarily mean a person has somatic symptom disorder. A thorough medical evaluation is necessary to rule out any underlying medical conditions before a diagnosis of somatic symptom disorder is made. Our experienced team of physicians and other specialists is here to help; you are not alone!
